Summer K. Stephens

Samantha Natera joined Stinson, Lasswell & Wilson, L.C. as an associate attorney in 2021. Raised on the border of Cuidad Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, Texas. Sam received her Bachelors of Arts in both Finance and International Business from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2018, and graduated with her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2021. While attending the University of Kansas, Sam was the President of the Hispanic American Law Students Association and worked as a student assistant in the Career Services Office to help translate international recruiting materials for outreach to Spanish-speaking students. As a student, she had the opportunity to volunteer on U and T Visa Certification cases. During the summer of 2020, Sam worked for the Farmworker Legal Services assisting migrant and seasonal farmworkers in fighting against employer injustice. Sam also earned the International Trade and Finance Certificate. Sam speaks both Spanish and English.
Margaret J. Lyons is an associate attorney with Stinson, Lasswell & Wilson, L.C. Growing up in several cities across Kansas, Maggie found her home in Wichita while attending Newman University. At Newman University, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Marketing degree with a minor in Communications. Maggie also was a graduate of the Newman Honors Program as well as the 2011 recipient of the Leona Ablah Award for service and leadership. Because of the preparation she received at Newman University, she earned a scholarship to the University of Kansas School of Law where she was on the Dean’s Advisory Board, a volunteer for the Guardian Assistantship Program, the Traffic Court Associate Chief Justice and the Women in Law Treasurer.
Prior to joining Stinson, Lasswell & Wilson,L.C., Maggie worked for Textron Aviation Inc. negotiating multi-million dollar Aircraft Purchase Agreements and learning about the aviation industry as a whole. In 2016, she joined the Junior League of Wichita to give back to the community that has given so much to her. She looks forward to continuing to develop her connections to the community through continued participation in Junior League of Wichita as well as the Wichita Bar Association.
Maggie is a member of the American, Kansas and Wichita bar associations. She is licensed to practice law in Kansas and her various practice areas are listed below, with her focus being in family law.
